What better way to spend the final weekend of fall sunlight, that is, before the daylight savings time clock kicks in, than enjoying Kankakee State Park and romping through the last leaves of autumn.  I must say, Olivia was a trooper.  Although the sun shone through for us, this was no warm day.  I was nicely bundled complete with mittens and scarf, while Olivia bravely smiled through the cold.  This senior is ready!  Eventually summer days will return, and this young lady will be getting to ready to go off to college.  She has dreams of working in the veterinary field, and though still in the midst of college applications and decisions, she plans on studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine.  Her families two dogs, two cats, and three fostered pets, will surely be thankful.  What an inspiration to see someone’s passion, what started as a simple love, bud into a lifelong pursuit.  Enjoy the journey, Olivia.
