Who better to love on your shared backyard than the neighbors who have become such sweet friends. I will admit that the fall color seemed exceptionally vibrant out our window this autumn, and while I rather love being outside (another reason photography continues to woo me) there is something especially endearing about being close to home. The place where conversations bring friendship, where laughter is illuminated by sunshine, and where throughout the day gazes bring overwhelming amounts of gratitude. Mind you, I am the type of person that would live in a small house for the sake of overlooking far stretches of green rather than a mansion looking into a neighbors kitchen window, but I don’t believe that type of mindset is needed to embrace home. Large or small, the spaces we create for ourself can serve to remind us of all which we find of value. An office desk, the interior of a car, a large oak tree. The spaces which we find ourselves in speak well of who we are.
