This mama was not shy to admit that she was rather nervous as her family got ready for our session together.  I completely understood why, as our littles were born not very far apart, and two year olds are not expected to magically sit still for family photographs, as much as we might like that to be the case!  Yet isn’t that just the beauty of now.  Granted there are some luxuries gone missing, silence left for sleep (where you can get it) and the idea of a perfect family portrait potentially relinquished, yet all that seems gone for the time being will be restored, and in the meantime there lies this beautiful season of discovery, adventure, unpredictability, and outrageous delight, even if paired with exhaustion.  We did indeed capture a good handful of “everyone-look-at-the-camera” moments, but I will admit that these are my favorite.  The ones that tell us what of life is to be cherished, because this is the life of now.
