When a family reaches out to you about setting up a photography session and they live 90 minutes away, you get excited that they would consider it worth coming your way to make it happen. When that same family then runs by you the idea of sitting somewhere with comic books and coffee, and they follow your suggestion of using your favorite local coffee shop, you get even more excited. When you then get to share a meal with that family afterwards and you get to introduce them to your daughter, because you haven’t seen each other in at least over a year, well the excitement is just too much. Then you realize that photographs capture memories, but the people in those photographs are what make the memories worth keeping.
